Terms of Service

Last updated: March 5, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Ciphervane website and the accounting services offered through it. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you indicate that you have read and understood these terms.

Ciphervane reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website or services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

1. Service Usage Terms

1.1 Acceptable Use

You may use this website and its associated services for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of the site.

1.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems. Scraping, automated data extraction, and systematic downloading of content are not permitted without prior written consent from Ciphervane.

1.3 Service Access

Access to accounting services is initiated through the contact form on this website. A service relationship is formally established only upon written confirmation from Ciphervane. Enquiries and preliminary discussions do not constitute a binding engagement.

1.4 Fair Usage

Clients are expected to provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for the provision of services. Ciphervane cannot be held responsible for outcomes arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed provision of required documents or data.

2. Account and Engagement Terms

2.1 Engagement Creation

Each service engagement is agreed individually, with scope, timeline, and fee confirmed in writing. No ongoing account or user registration is required to enquire about or use Ciphervane services.

2.2 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring that documents and information provided are accurate to the best of their knowledge. Where errors or omissions are discovered, clients should notify Ciphervane promptly so that corrections can be made before work is finalised.

2.3 Termination

Either party may withdraw from an active engagement by providing reasonable written notice. Work completed to the point of termination may be invoiced accordingly. Ciphervane reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service relationship where the provision of accurate or necessary information is not forthcoming.

3. Service Availability

3.1 Website Availability

Ciphervane makes reasonable efforts to ensure the website is accessible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our control may result in temporary unavailability.

3.2 Service Modifications

The range of services offered may be updated, expanded, or reduced over time. Existing engagements will not be materially altered without prior notice and agreement.

3.3 Geographic Scope

Services are available to clients worldwide. However, certain tax jurisdictions, filing requirements, or regulatory frameworks may fall outside the scope of Ciphervane's services. This will be communicated during the initial consultation where applicable.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Website Content

All content on this website — including text, layout, design, and graphics — is the property of Ciphervane unless explicitly stated otherwise. Reproduction or commercial use of any part of the website without written permission is prohibited.

4.2 Client Materials

Financial documents, records, and other materials provided by clients remain the property of the client. Ciphervane retains no claim over client-provided data beyond what is necessary to complete the agreed service.

4.3 Service Outputs

Prepared filings, reports, and other service outputs delivered to a client become the property of that client upon delivery and payment. Ciphervane may retain copies for record-keeping purposes in accordance with professional obligations.
